Recently, I've been interviewing some amazing guests. The most recent guest, Jordan Hobbs Park, shared some insights about couples therapy, an area of which I have less knowledge. The past year has been so hard for people in general, and couples/romantic relationships have taken the brunt of this stress. Grief comes to mind, in so many forms. We've lost people, routines, safety, and many others. The grief and exhaustion may lead us to being less able to identify when we're feeling overwhelmed (because we feel it all the time), and then lead to more difficulties in navigating conflicts in relationships. Like Jordan said in the episode, 69% of couples have the same argument(s) without a resolution. How do you think you can find your own way to own that with your relationships, knowing that some conflicts may never actually resolve and being okay with that? Food for thought, and check out the episode for more!
Also, I love my site visitors and you're the FIRST to know that I'll be doing an Instagram Live event with Jordan on 3/13/2021 at 3 PM CST. You can bring your own questions or just listen while we discuss parenting, co-parenting, and romantic relationships. She can also answer any questions about fashion and thrifting! See you there!
